A2G U-Mall SSF4: AE Weekend Tournament

Addicted 2 Gaming's weekend continues this Saturday, with Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition v2012 on tap this week.

MK Top Player Raul "Retic" de Leon will participate in his first ever SF4 Tournament so it will be interesting to see if can make the transition from MK to SF. Other confirmed names include BeeJay "The Apeshit Guy" Remigio, and players from Cavite led by Bombie.

All tournaments will follow the traditional double-elimination format, and registration fee for all tournaments will cost 130 pesos.

UMvC3/P4U Weekend @ Gamer's Lounge Results

Peter "IYOT.Papable Peter" Chua Jr. continues to dominate the Marvel 3 scene in the Philippines as he takes yet another championship last Saturday at the Gamer's Lounge UMvC3 and P4U Tournament. Team Northmall, in general, had a very impressive showing as well.

Team Ehada, meanwhile, took home 1st and 2nd place in Persona 4 Ultimate. Blinkwinkel took 1st and McArthur went home with 2nd.

A2G, located in University Mall in Vito Cruz, Manila, will be holding tournaments for Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition v2012, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and King of Fighters XIII.

The Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 tournament will happen on August 26, followed by Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition v2012 on September 1. King of Fighters XIII concludes their tournament, which will happen on September 8.

All tournaments will follow the traditional double-elimination format, and registration fee for all tournaments will cost 130 pesos.

UMVC3 and P4U Tournament Held at GamersLoungeHD

There will be an upcoming tournament on August 25, 2012 at GamersLoungeHD, Sherwood's Place, Taft Manila. The featured games for the tournament are Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Persona 4 Ultimate.

Door opens around 12 noon and  tournaments start at 2pm and the entrance fee is 100 pesos.

ISB Bukohan League Current Results and Video Archive

After hours of gruelling sets, tons of closed calls and hyped moments, the round robin phase of the ISB Bukohan League has finally concluded. Ron "Siopao" Lim's Adon dominated the round robin phase and is on top of the standings with a 7-1 record.

A three-way tie between Vien "Butchyx" Canlas, Ben "StriderBen" Gonzales and BeeJay "The Apeshit Guy" Remigio, all with identical 5-3 records, with Butchyx (+2 GD) earning 2nd place over StriderBen (0 GD) and Apeshit (0 GD), while StriderBen received 3rd place for beating Apeshit, who now gets 4th, in their race-to-three set. Jojo "RebelSpark" Resurreccion and OdePlay both have 4-4 records, but RebelSpark (+4 GD) earns the nod for 5th place over Odeplay (0 GD) who now gets 6th. Andrew "Insane" Bagay (3-5) finishes 7th, followed by 8th place Rico "houndz" Mambo (2-6) and Japs (1-7) rounds up the commpetition finishing 9th.

The first-to-six elimination phase will begin next saturday, August 25th, 2012 starting with 9th place Japs and 8pth place houndz, with the winner facing against 7th place Insane in another first-to-six elimination set. The elimination sets will continue until the final first-to-six elimination set vs 1st place Siopao has concluded. The winner of that set will become the first-ever ISB Bukohan League champion.
