After weeks of anticipation, the day for Team USA to do battle with Team Philippines arrived, and in the end, it was the heavy favorites that were victorious, proving why they are the kings of Marvel.
Team USA, led by EVO 2012 UMvC3 Champion Col. Filipino Champ, along with Hiro, Neo and CJ Showstopper beat Team Philippines 2-0 in a best-of-three, KoF-style team match. It was a gutsy performance by the Philippine team, led by Team Captain "Papable" Peter Chua along with Carlo Castilla, Alex "Bully" Lim, Alex Kim, and Kim Crisostomo, but in the end USA's skill, poise and experience proved to be the deciding factor.
Team PanCan has uploaded a video recapping the historic event in its latest episode of "Zoned Out".

Update: Bully has been eliminated in Round 2 of the IeSF 2012 World Championship Series Tournament for Tekken. In his bracket is Korea, home of the majority of top Tekken players in the world. While Bully didn't take home the championship, his performance served notice that the Philippines can now hang with the best players in the world.
_______________________________________________
Alexander "Bully" Lim, the Philippines' Tekken 6 representative in this year IeSF 2012 World Championship Series, has advanced to Round 2.
Bully gained the right to represent the Philippines by winning the Tekken 6 eSports Festival Philippine National Qualifier held last August 26, 2012 at SM City Cebu.
The 2012 World Championship Series, which is being held at Cheonan, South Korea, is sanctioned by the International e-Sports Federation, or IeSF, an organization that was founded by Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Romania, South Korea, Spain, and Switzerland back in 2008 in a bold move to ensure that eSports is accredited as any other sport.
Team PanCan would like to thank Mr. Nelson Ngan for the information.
